Lilly’s Portrait

I don't get to draw cats very often (I think Lily is my 3rd) but it's fun to step outside of my comfort zone now and again. Lilly's beautiful soft apricot fur was challenging and I had to trust my process and build up the colours slowly and let those tones come through.

I love Lilly's portrait and I'm so pleased with how she turned out.
